Multiple Tornado Interceptions in Central Kansas

Another incredible day for our second tour.  I originally thought we only saw 3 tornadoes, but after reviewing all the footage that our group shot of this supercell, the number has increased to 4 tornadoes and several funnel clouds.    The storm at one time produced several funnels, two of which turned into twin tornadoes on the ground at the same time.  One of these was very short lived and the other lasted for just a few more moments.  We had an amazing view of this action from our location.  While none of these tornadoes were large in nature, it was incredible to see two tornadoes on the ground at the same time with several other funnels developing from the storm while that was happening.
